Bright Nights Community Forum on "Understanding Bipolar Disorder" at Oakland Community College

The Bright Nights Community Forum on February 1 will begin with an overview of bipolar disorder presented by Melvin McInnis, M.D., Principal Investigator of the Heinz C. Prechter Bipolar Research Fund at the University of Michigan Depression Center. This will be followed by a Q & A and discussion session between the audience and panel. The panel is comprised of U-M Depression Center content experts and additional panelists, including participants from Oakland County Community Mental Health Authority, in order to make this a truly community-wide forum.

Background information: The University of Michigan Depression Center’s Bright Nights™ public forum series gives community members the opportunity to obtain up-to-date information on a variety of topics related to depression and bipolar illnesses. The forums are designed to allow for discussion and Q & A between audience members and expert panelists.
